Trained in Costume Design and Making for Performance at London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins, Jo obtained her BA in Costume for Performance in 2010, after successfully completing a Foundation in Art and Design in 2007.

Since then, she has worked as a Costume Designer, Costumer Maker, Production Designer and Stylist for film, TV and theatre, in London (UK), Corsica (France) and Tel-Aviv (Israel).


Prior to her Costume and Art studies, she trained as a Translator & Interpreter at ESTRI in Lyons, where she obtained a Degree in Translation and International Relations after four years of studies, in 2004. 

Recent creative projects include designing and making a bespoke wedding dress for a 1920s "Great Gatsby" themed wedding in Italy, costume making for Running Wild at Regents' Park Open Air Theatre, running wardrobe and costume revival for the Royal Opera House, costume assisting and alterations for the Almeida Theatre - Richard III, Boy, Medea - as well as Fittings for Harrods and Selfridges. 

Moreover, a keen interest in ethical fashion and life in Tel Aviv lead her to launch Sail the Seven Seas in 2012.
